Giving to Simon

Preparing business leaders for excellence has always been a primary objective of the Simon School. The unrestricted dollars from the Annual Fund are essential to our success. They provide the flexibility required to attend to the School’s most current and pressing needs. Your gift helps maintain the culture of excellence and innovation that distinguish a Simon education. Each year, Annual Giving resources make it possible for the School to: 

  • Provide financial aid to students in need,
  • Recruit and retain top-ranked faculty and students,
  • Foster curriculum development,
  • Update computing and classroom facilities,and

Making a gift to the Simon School

There are many different ways to make a contribution to the Simon School. Your gift may be made via telephone or mail, or you can make a pledge right now through our secure on-line giving form.

Contact the Simon School Advancement office at (585) 275-7563, and let us know you would like to make a gift to the Simon School Annual Fund. Please have a Visa, Mastercard or Discover card available. In order to better serve our donors, a toll free number, (866) 673-0181 is available for anyone who has questions regarding a charge to their credit card.

To make a gift via securities transfer

Gifts of appreciated securities may offer substantial tax advantages. These include avoiding capital gains tax entirely, and an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities. To make your stock transfer gift, please contact Debbie Rossi at U of R Advancement Services at (585) 275-3903, toll free (866) 673-0181, or drossi@admin.rochester.edu and let her know you would like to make a gift of stock to the Simon School Annual Fund.
