Simon School Early Leaders Initiative

For years, the accepted wisdom from top-tier MBA programs suggested that candidates must acquire four to six years of post-baccalaureate work experience to be competitive for full-time admission. The Simon School is leading the way among top MBA programs in an initiative to attract the best and the brightest students, regardless of whether you have a lengthy résumé. We actively recruit candidates with zero to three years work experience through our Early Leaders initiative.

Are you considering applying for full-time MBA study with limited full-time work experience? The perceived opportunity costs of joining an MBA program directly after college or within a short period thereafter are an important consideration. We therefore encourage you to review our student profiles, our Early Leaders brochure, the section on “The Simon MBA: Now vs. Later”, available scholarship opportunities and admission requirements to learn more.
