Simon Partnerships

The Simon School maintains strategic partnerships with many organizations that benefit prospective and current M.B.A. students. This group includes:

The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management – An alliance of 17 of the country’s top business schools and numerous corporations that seek to promote diversity and inclusion in American business. Simon was the fourth business school to join over 40 years ago, which serves as a testament to our deep-rooted commitment to diversity.  The Simon School offers partial scholarships and full-fellowships to well qualified full-time candidates.

Forté Foundation – A consortium of major corporations, top business schools and influential nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to substantially increasing the number of women in business. The Simon School offers several merit-based Forté Fellowships to highly qualified full-time MBA women each year.

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) – A national non-profit that is developing the next generation of African American, Hispanic and Native American leaders in major corporations, non-profit organizations and entrepreneurial ventures, by assisting young professionals as they apply to leading graduate business schools. During a 12-month period, culminating in their application submissions, participants receive coaching from MLT staff and MBA admissions officers. Specific areas of emphasis include GMAT preparation, individual work-plan development and execution to address perceived strengths and weaknesses, school research and selection, industry research and career guidance, writing skills, interviewing skills, financial planning, and application/essay strategy.

National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA) – A partnership with colleges and universities across the United States in the hope for increasing the number of Hispanic students completing bachelors and masters degrees. Financial assistance has been made possible by the participating universities for outstanding Hispanics. Simon School offers a partial scholarship and recognition to an outstanding candidate each year.

Peace Corps Fellows/USA Program – An association of over 40 universities that offer scholarship support to returning Peace Corps volunteers. Simon School awards $10,000 in merit-based scholarship support to admitted candidates who are transitioning immediately out of the Peace Corps, with consideration for additional funding dependent upon the overall strength of the application.

Teach For America – A consortium of top graduate school programs that offer merit-based scholarships, a waived application fee, and consideration for deferred admission for candidates who are immediately transitioning away from their teaching commitment. Simon School guarantees scholarship support of $20,000 over the two years of the full-time MBA program for individuals who are admitted directly after the completion of their Teach For America assignment.
