Congratulations on your enrollment to the Simon Business School! We are thrilled that you’ve joined the University of Rochester community. Before you begin classes, we want to make sure you have all the tools and information you need to be successful.

What is Orientation?

Simon Business School Orientation is designed to prepare you for academics, co-curricular activities, and your career search. Through online information sessions, webinars, and weekly communications, we work to ensure that your transition to the University is as smooth as possible. You are required to complete Orientation before you begin classes.

There are three main components to Orientation, which we encourage you to review and explore as soon as you’ve enrolled at the University:

• Online Orientation: A schedule of mandatory and optional live and pre-recorded online sessions. Schedules are listed on each MS Program page in the navigation.
• Welcome Week: Programming during the week of August 17-24
• Enrollment Guide: Your incoming student checklist
