Welcome to the Simon Community. By this point, you’ve probably met a few of your future classmates. Maybe you’ve even researched classes and professors. Sounds like you’re all set. What about your spouse or significant other? What will they be doing while you’re in school? Have no fear, Simon Partners is here.

What is Simon Partners?

Partners Club 2020 The Simon Partners Club is a casual social club operated by the significant others of Simon students. Its mission is to support students and their partners (dating, engaged, married, or otherwise) and families relocating to Rochester, NY, or assimilating into the business school culture by providing:

  • Social activities and networking opportunities
  • Resources and contacts in the Rochester area
  • Venues for involvement within the Simon community

We hope to encourage students and their partners to immerse themselves within the Rochester community and to take of advantage of all it has to offer. Our goal is to reach out to every husband, wife, child, and significant other involved with Simon, as well as partners of prospective Simon students.

Join Us

Partners Club 2020 We invite all partners to become a member of Simon Partners, even if they’ll just be visiting during the weekends. Joining is easy; just send an email to the Simon Full-Time MBA and MS Admissions Office stating your interest in joining. Admissions will then connect you with the Simon Partners board members who will answer all of your questions. We look forward to meeting all incoming partners!

I didn’t know I could join a club at Simon Business School! What else can I do as the partner of a Simon student? 

You can get a membership to the on-campus gym, visit the campus, use the library, and join other student-led social clubs at Simon Business School. For more information, send us an email.

What can I expect from Simon Partners?

Because Simon Partners is a social club, we provide lots of opportunities for socializing, networking, and getting to know various places of interest in the Rochester community; we want to show you what this city and region are about. Additionally, you can look forward to events organized by Simon Partners. Past activities include picnics and BBQs at a local parks, visits to cultural venues such as the George Eastman House and Memorial Art Gallery, wine trips to the famous Finger Lakes, happy hours at local bars, visits to local eateries, visits to historical sites such as Mt. Hope Cemetery, and more!

Can I (a partner) take classes at Simon?

The non-matriculated start to the part-time MBA is the only option individuals have to enroll in Simon classes without being admitted to one of our programs. You must have earned a bachelor's degree in order to take these courses. Additionally, partners may opt to audit Simon classes for a fee. However, in the past Simon has also had couples concurrently enrolled in Simon degree programs.
