The Simon MS in Finance in New York City program's home is the Tribeca campus of New York Law School. The location, at 185 W. Broadway, is easily accessible for tri-state students and offers a comprehensive learning environment in close proximity to Wall Street, the Civic Center, and tech corridor.

Professor Smith's research focuses on option pricing, corporate financial policy, and financial intermediation. He is one of Simon's most highly regarded instructors and is often cited in leading academic journals. He is active on corporate boards, where he advises on finance and government matters.
