Simon Business School

Centers of Excellence

Simon’s Centers of Excellence keep our instruction and curriculum on the cutting-edge. They promote research that fuels innovative thought and relevant learning in the classroom, while keeping the School at the forefront of business trends that continue to shape the modern world.

Center for Entrepreneurship

At Simon, we believe entrepreneurship and new business development will continue to be the fuel for our nation’s economy. Our Entrepreneurship concentration, with coursework and study driven by the latest research from our Center for Entrepreneurship, encourages you to go beyond theory and apply what you learn in your own business venture. To help accomplish that, Simon worked with dedicated alumni and benefactors to create a philanthropically funded venture capital fund worth over $1 million, which students will manage in real world settings. To help develop other student business ventures, we also partner with High Tech Rochester to provide a student business incubator offering mentoring, coaching, office space, and administrative support. Center for Pricing

Every day businesses are recognizing the importance of hiring well-trained pricing professionals. While many company leaders agree on pricing’s critical role, few have the formal training and education Simon provides. In the framework of our analytic and economics-based approach, our students develop the skills necessary to become pragmatic pricing professionals.

We are a leader among business schools in offering a Center for Pricing and a specialized Pricing Track within the MBA program. There is a rapidly growing market for trained pricing professionals. At Simon, you’ll learn fundamentals of value-based pricing, while our advanced pricing courses cover business-to-business pricing, pricing under capacity constraints, behavioral pricing, and many more.
