The INFORMS Society for Marketing Science (ISMS) Marketing Science Conference is an annual event that brings together leading marketing scholars, practitioners, and policy makers with a shared interest in rigorous scientific research on marketing problems.

Submissions will be accepted in one of two categories (1) Abstracts only; and (2) Special Session proposals. Abstracts should not exceed 1800 characters (about 250 words), and should clearly state the marketing relevance, keywords, contribution, authors, and presenting author. Keywords must be included to help organizers place the paper in appropriate sessions and tracks. An author may be the primary presenter for only a single paper during the entire conference. However, authors may co-author any number of other papers. Only one submission per presenter will be accepted
In order to limit the number of canceled papers and no-shows, authors of accepted abstracts are required to register for the conference no later than May 3, 2021. All abstracts must be submitted using the online submission system.

Coming soon: 2021 ISMS Marketing Science Conference Program.
The 43rd ISMS Marketing Science Conference will be preceded by the ISMS Doctoral Consortium, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. The consortium is an annual event for doctoral fellows from universities around the world. It focuses on the fellows’ intellectual and professional development by offering a program that features both plenary and breakout sessions as well as various opportunities for both professional dialogue and social interaction.
Sessions will run throughout the day virtually.
The Doctoral Consortium is open only to students who have been nominated by their home institution. Accepted nominees will receive an invitation to register for the Consortium from the INFORMS Society for Marketing Science. To attend the Consortium, accepted nominees must register and there is no fee for ISMS members and a $25 fee for non-members, with one year membership in ISMS. Students participating in the doctoral consortium are required to register for the conference and pay the student conference registration rate.
A school may nominate up to three students for the ISMS Doctoral Consortium. Nominations can be made by any faculty member at the school. Nominations should be emailed by the nominating faculty to Jiwoong Shin (jshin.isms@yale.edu), ISMS VP Education.
Nominations are due by May 1st, 2021.
