Please explain to voters that there is a difference between trade & capture. China has acquired Smithfield Foods, 353 million acres of land in the US, etc. They can make the trade deficit look smaller through these strategies. They have been using capture rather than trade for decades. Enough with the capture already. Prof. Michael Bradley at the U of R in the early eighties replied to my concern in this area by saying, "Well, we have a lot of land etc. to sell."
