SIMON ACCOUNTS
The University of Rochester issues two seperate accounts to all students in order to access our online systems. Upon enrollment, all students are issued both a UR Active Directory account and a NetID.
ACTIVE DIRECTORY
Active Directory (AD) is your domain account at the University, used to log in to the following applications:
- Student Information Systems
- Wireless Network (UR_Connected)
- MySimon
NETID
Your NetID is your account for securely accessing the following online services at the University of Rochester:
- Blackboard
- Library
- HRMS (Employees Only)
- Bursar
- MyIdentity
