Margaret Feldman ’15S (MBA)
Embarking on a new entrepreneurial journey, Margaret has introduced HairStixies, a practical solution to the widespread challenge of loose hair in the shower. Margaret developed HairStixies through rigorous testing and iterations to achieve a user-friendly and cost-effective design. Feldman's dedication to finding the right materials and adhesive resulted in a discreet and transparent product that blends seamlessly with any shower aesthetic. Packaged in two-packs with 12 sheets each, HairStixies offers a practical and long-lasting solution.
Reflecting on her entrepreneurial journey, Margaret credits Dennis Kessler, one of her favorite professors at Simon, for imparting valuable lessons in his entrepreneurship classes. Margaret also said she is proud to have created a unique and practical solution that stands out in a market often dominated by products created by men. HairStixies addresses a problem predominantly experienced by women, showcasing the significance of female inventors and their unique perspectives in driving innovation. HairStixies officially launched in the fall of 2023 and is available now at hairstixies.com.
Nathan Ringelstetter ’02 ’05S (MBA)
Nathan recently started at JERA Americas as their head of project finance. In this position, he is responsible for all project-level financings of renewables including solar, wind, and battery storage, as well as low carbon fuel projects. He will continue to be based in Washington, DC.
Hiatt Zhao ’06 ’15S (MS)
Hiatt will be starting an around the world bicycle tour on March 20, 2023, from King of Prussia, PA. The bicycle trip will last at least 2 years. You can follow along with his adventures on his blog and see photos on his Instagram account.
Jon Wu ’86S (MBA)
By the appointment of the governor of Connecticut, Ned Lamont, Jon was sworn in to take a board seat of the Connecticut Retirement Security Authority (CRSA) on February 17, 2023. Connecticut is the fourth state after, Oregon, Illinois, and California to implement the employer mandate auto-IRA for employees working from small businesses that do not provide retirement savings programs. This will reduce the retirement savings accessibility inequality. Jon is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
