Here in the United States we are celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday—a time when we pause and reflect on what enriches our lives. Naturally, we thought it also might be a good opportunity to think about what we are most thankful for about Simon, so here are a few reasons we feel grateful today and every day:

Our students. Simon students continuously impress and inspire us—they are exceptionally bright, hard-working, involved, and committed to making an impact. The way they show up each day to celebrate wins and offer support to one another is a hallmark of our #SimonStrong community.

Our faculty. At Simon, you will work one-on-one with thought leaders in finance, accounting, economics, management, and marketing. Our faculty continue to innovate curriculum requirements as industry demands change, demonstrating their commitment to providing a rigorous, high-quality graduate business education.

Our location. Rochester, New York, is a great place to pursue a graduate business degree. You will be a one-hour flight away from New York City and other major East Coast metros and enjoy affordable cost of living—one-bedroom apartments in a complex start at around $1,200 per month. Plus, you’ll get to experience four seasons and all the beauty each has to offer.

Our impact. There are numerous ways for you to lead—not only in the Simon community but also in the greater Rochester community as well. Whether it’s participating in Simon Volunteers’ annual Secret Santa program, which helps 200 local families annually, or getting involved in P.I.E.C.E.S., an educational equity program with Rochester City School District, the Simon family is committed to making a difference.

If business school is on your to-do list for next year, here’s one more thing to be thankful for: you can apply for free! Our next application deadline for our full-time MBA and MS programs is January 5, but if you apply by December 5 at 11:59 p.m. EST, your application fee (a $90 value) is waived! If you’re a working professional looking to earn your degree without pausing your career, you can apply for free to our Professional MBA program by 11:59 p.m. EST on December 1 and begin your studies in January.

We wish you the very best as the year comes to a close. As always, we are here to support you every step of the way through the application process, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
