Graduating student spotlight: Tomilola Olotu ’23S (MBA)

In this Q&A, we hear from Tomilola Olotu ’23S (MBA), Simon Class of 2023 MBA graduate, Forté Fellow, and president of the Graduate Business Council. We asked her about her experiences at Simon and what future Simon students can expect.
What are your best memories from the MBA program?
Traveling and exploring places I had never been to with my new friends. During the program, I traveled to Mexico, Miami, Philadelphia, Niagara, and Boston. These experiences helped me get to know people better outside the classroom and build a lifelong bond with them.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be moving to Minneapolis, Minn. to work as a corporate strategy associate at Cargill Inc.
Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Leading a team, building a family and connecting with current students and Simon as an invested alumna.
Any advice for future Simon students?
Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things from classes, case competitions, club leadership to extracurricular activities. The Simon MBA provides numerous opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

I collect shot glasses from different states in America and countries around the world.
