Bio

Marc K. Peter is Professor of Digital Business at FHNW (CH) and Adjunct Professor at CSU (AU), and faculty member of the University of Rochester (USA), Rochester-Bern Executive Programs (USA/CH), and the University of Basel (CH). Professor Peter studied finance at UC Berkeley (USA), marketing at the University of Basel (CH) and has an EMBA from UAS Bern (CH), Babson College (USA) and PKU Beijing (CN); and Doctorate from CSU (AU).

Before joining academia, Marc K. Peter worked in small businesses as well as large corporations including eBay, E*TRADE (ANZ) and LexisNexis in Europe and Asia-Pacific. As GM of LexisNexis Pacific, Marc K. Peter developed and implemented a holistic, digital transformation strategy which created new digital business ventures and optimized processes in order to drive sustainable value creation.

Professor Marc K. Peter has research and teaching interests in digital transformation, digital strategy, digital technology, cybersecurity, digital leadership and digital marketing.

His papers have been published in Competitiveness Review, European Business Review, International Journal of Management Reviews, International Journal of Strategic Communication, Journal of Industrial and Business Economics, Journal of Strategy and Management, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
