Application Deadline: October 15, 2024

Designed for University of Rochester Medical Center physicians and health care leaders with an advanced degree, the Health Care Leadership Development Program (HCLDP) offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your business acumen and strengthen your health care management skills, without the commitment of a full graduate degree program.

The program’s targeted curriculum is taught by Simon Business School faculty and is designed to yield maximum results while meeting the needs of a busy, health care leader audience. Split into four modules, the program focuses on various aspects of health care administration: leadership, finance, strategic management, and quality/performance improvement. Each module consists of one cohort-based weekend session, leveraging networking opportunities and interactive education; additional content is delivered through asynchronous assignments.

After a very successful launch of the HCLDP in Fall 2024 offered to URMC physicians, we are expanding the spring cohort audience to include both URMC physicians and health care leaders. Faculty and staff with an advanced degree are encouraged to apply for the spring cohort. We will continue to offer the HCLDP fall cohort to URMC physicians.

Admission priority is given to URMC leaders who plan to pursue all 4 modules. Applications will be considered on a space available basis for candidates who wish to pursue 3 or fewer modules. Cohort size is limited; applicants are encouraged to apply early
