Simon launches Business Master’s Pathway for University undergraduates.
Simon Business School at the University of Rochester has announced an expanded opportunity for University of Rochester undergraduates to fast-track their graduate business education through the Business Master’s Pathway. This five-year BA/BS + MS program offers a streamlined route into one of Simon’s full-time MS programs—Accountancy, AI in Business, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or Finance—allowing students to begin graduate coursework while completing their undergraduate degree.
Students may apply for acceptance to the Pathways program either as high school seniors when submitting their University of Rochester undergraduate application or as current University of Rochester juniors.
Designed for high-achieving undergraduates who want to get a head start on their professional journey, the Business Master’s Pathway provides an early opportunity for students to solidify their post-graduation plans and have access to career support. Participants have the option to complete up to eight MS credits during their senior year. These credits can fulfill both undergraduate and graduate requirements, reducing the graduate course load in the fifth year and opening space for additional electives, networking, or job searching.
“This program gives students a direct path to a world-class business education while offering career support that begins before they even start their MS program,” said Mitch Lovett, Interim Dean and Benjamin Forman Professor of Marketing at Simon Business School. “Students graduate not just with an advanced degree, but with the skills, connections, and confidence to succeed in a competitive job market.”
Program highlights include:
• Early Admission to a Simon MS Program: Secure your spot in a graduate business program as early as your junior year.
• Dedicated Career Support: Access to Simon’s Benet Career Management Center in addition to the Gwen Greene Center, including career onboarding tools, one-on-one coaching, and support for securing a pre-MS summer internship.
• Simplified Application Process: No GMAT or GRE required, and the application fee is waived.
• Guaranteed $15,000 Scholarship: All Pathway students receive a minimum scholarship toward their MS degree.
• Optional Graduate Coursework in Senior Year: Take 5.5 credits of core courses in the fall and 2.5 credits of electives in the spring—boosting your résumé and easing your graduate course load.
