He is a visiting instructor at Simon Business School, where he teaches OPS 221 (Operations Management) during the 2026–2027 academic year. His dissertation investigates automotive recall effectiveness in the U.S., focusing on regulator–manufacturer dynamics, problem complexity, and consumer behavior. His work on how supply chain characteristics shape the post-sale diversion risk of prescription opioids has been published in the Journal of Operations Management. Before his doctoral studies, Ramin spent nearly a decade in industry as a logistics analyst, management consultant, and applied researcher across the energy, healthcare, banking, and public sectors in Iran. He holds an MSBA from Washington State University, an MSc in Management Science, and a BSc in Industrial Management, both from institutions in Tehran, Iran.
