Our mission at Simon’s Benet Career Management Center (Benet Center) is to prepare every one of our students for long term career success, not just for their next job. We are committed to the success of every Simon graduate, and that includes providing career advisory support to help you determine—and reach—your professional aspirations.
Simon’s Benet Career Peers (BCPs) are trained MBA students who are available to advise you on topics like choosing the right internship, building a job search strategy, interviewing, crafting your résumé, and preparing to enter a specific industry.
Your MS Career Consultant will be available to provide both group support and one-on-one assistance from the day you arrive at Simon. With their in-depth experience of corporate culture, career path options, hiring needs and practices, and more, they are excellent resources to help you further your professional goals. They’ll come to know your technical and interpersonal strengths and how to use those unique attributes to position yourself for success.

While Meg began her career in marketing at The Breakers, Palm Beach, she knew that education and career development was core to her career goals. As a Higher Education Administration graduate student at Syracuse University, she completed a practicum in the Office of Career Services, and later transitioned into roles at Wheelock College and Boston University. After returning to the Rochester area, Meg led the design of and launched the Center for Student Success at SUNY Brockport’s Business School, with a focus on career and corporate development. There, she also designed and delivered their Business Career seminars.
Meg joined Simon Business School in 2016 as Director of Student Life in the Office of Student Engagement, and recently transitioned into the Benet Center, where she serves as both Director of Career Education and Professional Development and MS Career Consultant to our Accountancy students.

Meg joined the Benet Career Center in 2019 as an MS Career Consultant working specifically with Finance students across both corporate engagement and student career advising efforts. With a background based entirely in corporate recruiting, both at the campus and experienced hire levels, she brings with her to Simon a wealth of experience to better assist students with all aspects of their career search.
Originally from Buffalo, NY, Meg’s experience at the University of Rochester began as one of the first students to graduate from the undergraduate business program. Highlights during her time at the U of R included playing Varsity Women’s Basketball (reaching the NCAA Final Four in 2010), working with student athletic clubs to secure funding for activities, and being a member of the first pledge class inducted into the co-ed business fraternity (Alpha Kappa Psi) on campus.
After graduation, Meg joined Goldman Sachs in NYC as lead MBA campus recruiter for their Investment Banking Division, responsible for hiring over 75 summer associates each year. She later transitioned to experienced hire recruiting, supporting efforts for Investment Banking, Internal Audit, and the build-out of the new Retail Deposits business across all levels. In 2016, Meg left Goldman Sachs to join Bank of America as a VP in Wealth Management recruiting, leading efforts for the Financial Advisor Program across NYC and Western NY, and later led the campus program for all of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management nationwide just prior to joining Simon.
