Enrollment Verification

Students needing verification or confirmation of their enrollment status with the Simon School may request an enrollment verification online through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) with your NetID. The University of Rochester uses the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide enrollment data to lenders. The Simon School transmits enrollment data to NSC three times per quarter — after add/drop, mid-term and the last week of classes. Simon degree information (MBA, MS) and degree award dates are also transmitted to NSC by the University Registrar's Office.

Verification of enrollment for matriculated and non-matriculated students is based on the following each quarter (as stated in the Simon School Handbook):

  • Full-time = 10.5 or more credit hours
  • Half-time = 6-10 credit hours
  • Less than half-time = 0-5 credit hours

If you are unable to use the link above, please submit an Enrollment/Degree Verification Form to our office. Production time for enrollment verifications is three business days once the request is received.

Degree Verification

The University of Rochester has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide instant electronic degree/enrollment verification to employers, employment agencies and background search firms. If you need to verify a degree from the Simon Graduate School of Business, please visit the National Student Clearinghouse.

Transcript Requests

Official transcripts must be requested through the University Registrar’s Office. Official transcripts for students who graduated prior to December 2020 do not reflect semester grade point average (GPA) or cumulative grade point average (GPA). These transcripts include all courses taken at the University of Rochester.

Note: The Simon School will not duplicate transcripts from US or international universities that you attended. You must contact those institutions directly for copies.
