Graduating Student Information

  • Transfer credit must be approved and processed before by the last day of final exams for the term in which you will graduate.  Please see the Academic Handbook for details.

  • Incomplete Grades - Resolve any "I" (Incomplete) grades. Your instructor must submit a final letter grade to the Registrar's Office prior to the end the semester you expect to graduate.

  • Financial Obligations - Make sure you have met your financial obligations to the University with the Bursar's Office.

Graduation Dates

The date your degree is awarded will depend on the term in which you graduate. This award date will also appear in the University Student Records System and on your official transcript.

Fall Term 2023 - degree will be awarded on December 31, 2023

Spring Term 2024 - degree will be awarded on May 17, 2024

Summer Term 2024 - degree will be awarded on August 31, 2024

Fall Term 2024 - degree will be awarded on December 31, 2024

Refund Schedule/Tuition Refund Policy

Withdraw/Leave of Absence

 

Prior to the first day of classes:


Students who cancel admission, withdraw, or take a leave from Simon Business School, voluntarily or involuntarily, before the first day of classes will receive a full tuition and fee refund (100%). These students are not included in Simon Business School records as registered for the term. All disbursed Title IV, institutional, state, and other aid will be returned to the appropriate account by the Financial Aid Office. Note: Non-refundable application and enrollment fees will be forfeited.

After the first day of classes:


Students who withdraw or take a leave from Simon Business School, voluntarily or involuntarily, on or after the first day of classes through the seventh day of the term (first week) will receive a full tuition and fee refund (100%). An enrolled student who becomes inactive on or after the eighth day of the term but before the time when s/he has completed 60 percent of the period of enrollment, will have their institutional charges and institutional aid adjusted based on a daily proration of attendance.  Please note that non-refundable application and enrollment fees will be forfeited.
