Coursework that combines expert instruction and hands-on learning.

In addition to a required project-based consulting course, you may also choose additional elective courses. These include immersive experiences abroad, and a professional skill-building program to prepare for your future career.

Required Course 

MKT 441, CIS 461, or FIN 434

Every Simon MBA study team completes a project-based course in which you and a team will apply what you are learning in the classroom in a real-world setting. This will provide you with concrete résumé experience.

International Immersions

Through a mix of coursework, discussions with government and business leaders, and hands-on activities, students will immerse themselves all over the world and learn to expand their understanding of what it means to do business in a global context.

Electives

In addition to the required project course, you’ll have the opportunity to take elective classes, as part of your chosen specialization, with experiential components that prepare you to enter your future career with confidence.

Not every business situation can be replicated in the classroom, which is Simon offers a wealth of hands-on learning opportunities to complement your classroom instruction. By the time you graduate, you’ll have a level of comfort and confidence that can only be gained through experience.
