How long does it take to complete a certificate?

Each certificate consists of three courses (7.5 credits). Students either take two courses per mini term, or a single course, depending on the certificate schedule; and complete the certificate in either two or three 7-week mini terms. 

 Can I transfer credits from a certificate to a full master’s degree?

Yes. Credits from a certificate can be applied toward Simon’s Master’s in Medical Management (MMM), Executive MBA, or Professional MBA. You can also stack up to two certificates toward the MMM. Some restrictions on credit transfer apply. Speak with an admissions advisor for more details.

No. These certificates are designed to provide foundational knowledge in health care finance, strategy, leadership, and analytics, making them accessible to professionals from diverse healthcare backgrounds.

Courses are in person with evening and weekend sessions to accommodate working professionals. 

What is the cost of the program?

The cost per credit hour is $2,366 (based on our standard part-time cost per credit hour rate). However, employee tuition benefits may be available for those who qualify.
