Five Things to Consider When Applying After May 1
The Round 5 – May 1 application deadline for the full-time programs has passed, but we are excited to share that we are still accepting applications to Simon Business School on a space-available basis*! There is still time to start your full-time MBA or MS in Accountancy, AI in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or Marketing Analytics degree in 2025.
Here are a few reasons why you should consider applying to Simon after May 1:
1.) Generous merit-based scholarships are still available
...even if you apply after May 1! Merit scholarships consider a variety of factors, including professional experience, academic performance, test scores (if submitted), extracurricular involvement, and leadership.
2.) You can get started right away
The Full-Time MBA program at Simon begins in July, and our MS programs begin in August. If you are motivated and ready, you won’t have to wait long before you get started! You have enough time to get ready, and the momentum will carry you through the start of your program.
3.) You do not need a GRE or GMAT score to apply
Simon does not require GMAT or GRE scores for the MBA or MS programs; however, candidates who choose to take either test are welcome to submit their scores. The admissions process at Simon Business School is holistic—we consider your professional work experience and/or internships, undergraduate academic performance, leadership experience, certifications, essays, extracurricular activities, and your admission interview (for MBA candidates) or video essay (for MS candidates).
4.) You will advance your career
We totally get it: time can get away and before you know it, the deadlines have passed while you were still thinking about applying. If you have been on the fence about business school and thought you missed out for 2025, this is your chance to move forward and advance your career. Our MBA and MS graduates work for Fortune 500 companies including Amazon, Deloitte, Pfizer, Citigroup, Nike, Proctor & Gamble, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs, and many others.
5.) It’s an opportunity to join a top business school
Simon is a top-ranked** business school offering STEM-designated degrees for our MBA and MS programs. We are:
- No. 28 in the US by Bloomberg Businessweek (2024)
- No. 32 in the US by Financial Times (2025)
