Simon Business School Announces Enhanced Master of Science Programs that Maximize Return on Investment
Master’s Programs will Prepare Students for Career Success with More Affordable Tuition and Accelerated Time to Degree
December 12, 2024
Simon Business School, a pioneer in STEM management education and home to top-ranked MBA and MS programs, is enhancing its full-time MS offerings to deliver exceptional value for students. New core courses in AI and technology will equip graduates with the tools to address today’s complex business challenges and future opportunities.
With increased ability to specialize studies, accelerated time to graduation, and a curriculum focused on practical, real-world applications, Simon ensures that the investment in an advanced degree translates into career success and lasting professional impact.
“The program enhancements are driven by the evolving needs of the marketplace,” said Sevin Yeltekin, dean of Simon Business School. “Incorporating AI broadly in our MS programs, offering relevant specializations, and maintaining competitive pricing reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional value. Our customizable programs include core AI courses and workshops, as well as specialized tracks, empowering students to align their education with their career aspirations.
Dean Yeltekin also emphasized Simon’s commitment to offering more affordable pricing for these programs. “By streamlining program delivery, Simon has reduced core full-time MS tuition significantly—more than $10,000 for each program—offering more competitive pricing compared to other top 50 business programs,” she said.
In addition to adding core AI content across all MS programs, Simon recently launched the Full-Time Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence in Business, a STEM-designated program designed to equip students with the technical, strategic, and hands-on skills needed to harness AI for business value. The program includes courses such as Programming for Analytics and AI & Deep Learning, an AI-focused capstone project with corporate partners, and personalized career coaching. Highlighting the growing demand for AI expertise, Simon cites a Deloitte report showing that 79% of business leaders expect generative AI to transform their organizations within three years. Applications are now open, with the next classes beginning in August 2025.
New enhancements have also been made to Simon’s highly ranked MS in Finance program, which include specialized concentrations in Investment Management and Financial Analysis, Corporate Financial Strategy and Investment Banking, and Financial Technology and Innovation. These tailored tracks are designed to equip students with the expertise needed for career advancement in today’s dynamic financial landscape.
Simon is also taking steps to better address the needs expressed by students. “At Simon, we value student feedback. To better accommodate demanding schedules, we’ve moved the start date for all full-time MS programs to August,” said Dean Yeltekin. “This change reflects our commitment to prioritizing and supporting our students’ success.”
All Simon full-time MS programs are STEM-designated, highlighting their quantitative rigor to employers and allowing international students to work in the US for up to 36 months if employed in a STEM-eligible role.
Simon’s full suite of master’s programs includes a top-ranked MBA (full-time and part-time), Executive MBA (available in-person or online), Online MS in Business Analytics & Applied AI, and full-time Master of Science programs in AI in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Business Analytics, and Marketing Analytics.
