George Gibson

Bio

George Gibson is a research and development professional. His career included 26 years with Xerox where he was the director of Technology Scouting. He did his undergraduate and graduate in chemistry at Binghamton University and holds an MBA from the Simon School. Currently, he consults in technology and new product development and strategy. He also is an Adjunct Instructor at Alfred University’s College of Business where he teaches Business Research Methods, Innovation Management, and Business Sustainability.

Research Interests

Generally, his research interests focus on innovation and new product development and commercialization. His largest current research focus is the use of strategic and tactical M&A activity in the 3D printing industry.

Teaching Interests

Mr. Gibson is interested in helping to train the next generation of business leaders, helping them to realize their potential.
