September 17, 2024 | Simon Admissions & Programs Team

The 2024–25 academic year is officially underway and the Simon Admissions team is gearing up for our next recruitment cycle. First up are Simon's fall on-campus events! Whether you have just submitted your application or are still in the process of applying, visiting campus is an excellent opportunity to solidify why Simon is the best place for you to earn your Full-Time MBA.

This year, we are excited to launch a new, immersive on-campus event called Simon MBA Experience, which spans Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. Designed with busy professionals in mind, the schedule allows you to see yourself at Simon and only miss one day of work. Attendees should only need to take Monday off because the programming concludes with enough time to travel home from Rochester on Monday afternoon, reducing time away from home and personal responsibilities. The first Simon MBA Experience will be held Sunday, October 13 – Monday, October 14, and we hope you will join us!

Why should you register today to attend? Here are a few things to consider:

Experience Simon firsthand.

Visiting campus is an important factor when choosing a business school. Simon's close-knit community is made up of enthusiastic, intelligent, and innovative people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. Our top-ranked MBA offers you the option to receive a STEM-designated degree in any specialization, and also boasts a small class size—we enroll roughly 110 full-time MBA students each year—a personalized approach by design. While here, you will participate in a sample strategy class, tour Simon, have the chance to attend an application workshop, and engage with current students to get a feel for life at Simon. On Sunday night, enjoy a welcome happy hour at a popular Rochester restaurant, giving you a glimpse of our city and our vibrant community.

Take the opportunity to interview.

Why wait? Regardless of where you are in the application process, you will be able to complete your admission interview during your visit. If you intend to apply to Simon for 2025 entry, this is your chance to check a major part of the application process off of your to-do list.

Get to know the Simon community.

Current students, staff, and faculty together make up the Simon Family, and once you get on campus, you'll experience our close-knit community for yourself. Hear directly from our current students about their lives at Simon and understand how they maximize their student experience. You'll meet key staff members who will guide your student journey from the time you enroll through graduation day, and you'll take an MBA class with a member of our world-renowned faculty. By the time you depart on Monday, you'll have a firsthand look at life as a Simon MBA student.

Connect with fellow prospective MBA students.

An additional benefit of attending Simon MBA Experience is the chance to network with prospective students. This is a unique opportunity to authentically engage, share, reflect, and connect with others on the same journey. You will begin to experience the supportive and collaborative culture that is Simon.

Need additional reasons to attend? Take advantage of travel stipends to help offset the cost of your trip to Rochester if you’re traveling more than 200 miles one way and have a US mailing address. Plus, we will cover the cost of a one-night hotel stay and provide meals and snacks during scheduled events.

Space is limited—register by September 23 to secure your spot at Simon MBA Experience in October. If this event doesn't work with your schedule, explore Women's Conference in November or our spring on-campus events. If you have any questions, reach out to us at events@simon.rochester.edu. We hope to see you soon!
